About Alison

These are my three greatest sources of writer’s block and this is a very old picture. They are now 15, 13, and 10.

Welcome to my website. My name is Alison Cupp Relyea and I’m a 47-year-old teacher and former marketing professional now pursuing a career as a museum educator and writer. I live with my three children and my husband in Rye, New York. After sixteen years in Manhattan, we left the city for the suburbs. I have been teaching at the local historical society and writing as much as possible. I finally published my first book, Soundtrack: Liner Notes from a Pandemic Mixtape, with Mascot Books. it was released in November 2023.
